Subject: COVID-19/Coronavirus Update from Empire Industries, Inc.
To our valued customers,
As mentioned last week, we are continuing to monitor the COVID-19/Coronavirus outbreak both here locally in Connecticut and throughout the United States and will continue to update you on how it is affecting our business. Please view our previous COVID-19/Coronavirus statement here.
Over the last few days, Connecticut and many other states have executed “Shelter In-Place” orders; most of which will allow only “essential” businesses to remain open. Manufacturing in the State of Connecticut has been deemed as essential and therefore, while minimizing the risk to our employees and their families, we have decided to keep our facility open to continue to serve our critical nationwide wholesale distribution network as they supply product to the industries that are able to operate during this very difficult period of time.
With the understanding that some of our loyal distributors may be operating at less-than fulltime and/or have made changes to their normal receiving processes, when submitting new orders please make sure to indicate these changes so that our Sales and Shipping departments can ensure your order is processed and shipped properly.
As previously mentioned, due to the internal precautions we took early last week, you may experience some minor delays from us in responding to inquiries, processing orders, and making same day/next day shipments. If you have any questions regarding our current status, please do not hesitate to call us directly. We will also post any new developments to our website, www.empireindustries.com.
